Important information for people with following RAID controllers: SY-VIA-150R made by SYBA (Creative IO), Russian Orient V-802R and others on VT6421A / VT6421L

SY-VIA-150R made by SYBA (Creative IO) equals to Russian Orient V-802R. They have the same VT6421A chips and BIOS chips Winbond W49V002AP. Both have marking on board VTS2238B3 VIATECH.

SY-VIA-150R card really acting up. Second SATA channel fails all the time. Only SATA works in RAID. To fix that problem download BIOS update from Rosewill RC-212 VT6421A. After that IDE and SATA you can put in RAID.

PINs on SATA , IDE and PCI suppose to be GOLD PLATED! That holes just didn't do that at all. I think, that's the reason why that card acting up. Or may be some power components don't work properly because I notice that VIA chip get's hot.
