Дополнение к статье.
В ней не рассмотрена ещё одна ВМ - Parallels Workstation (
www.parallels.com).
Опробовал последнюю (почти?) версию 2.1. Впечатления:
ВМварь-Лайт
Весит мало - не то 30, не то 50 (инсталл где-то завалялся).
Добавляется "стандартное" железо: IDE-хард(ы), флопы, CDROM(ы), саунд, COM-LPT-USB.
Отсутствуют СКАЗИ девайсы.
Скорость работы
заметно выше "корифеев", нагрузку на систему не оценил, бо она у меня хилая, и тормозит "не взирая на"
(реальную скорость софта).
Недостаток, проявившйся у меня - невозможность загрузки с компашки с загрузчиком типа BCDW (версии не проверял).
Резюме (по
моему результату):
для тестирования бутовых компактов (т.е. установки ОС) не пригодна,
для тестирования софта на установленной ОС - хороша.
