We never exposed the NTFS version number in W2K (that I'm aware of), and our
published MS documentation (Help/Getting Started) didn't call it NTFS 5.0.
Instead, we used "The version of NTFS available in Windows 2000" or "The
version of NTFS available in Windows NT 4.0." However, it looks like 5.0 did
make an appearance in some MS KB articles, so obviously I can't claim that
nobody at MS ever called it 5.0
