Откройте CMD блокнотом, найдите нужный пункт и посмотрите какие действия производит командный файл при выборе определенного пункта. Я вообще этим CMD не пользовался, а нужные драйвера добавлял в ручном режиме. И по части РАЕ патча CMD тоже не использовал. Просто выбрал нужные файлы из дистрибутива, скопировал их в одну папку, пропатчил и положил назад в дистрибутив уже пропатченые. »

Так это не в CMD, это в каком-то запускном файле, который выводит вот такое окно в процессе установки OS:

Вот последние 2 пункта и не понятно что делают.
В описаловке к "WinXP-IE Optional Patch Integrator v2.4.2" сказано, если я правильно понял, про эти 2 пункта следующее:

А вот что именно под этими "Pre-Configured Windows XP Setting" (и т.д.) понимается - уточнений нет. Перешёл по ссылке на "сайт производителя" этого patch-интегратора, но и там нет полного описания, там тот же самый текст, что и тут в текстовом файле.
Avatar-Lion, для проведения достоверного сравнения систем wxp и остальных - открывать надо вкладки по одинаковым адресам, т.е. если открываем видео на youtube, то использовать одинаковый список ссылок для открытия. Потому что по объёму занимаемой памяти каждая страница на youtube уникальна. Где-то комментариев нет, а где-то их тысячи. Отсюда и различия в отжираемой памяти.
