Скачала HDDScan_3.3, все тесты Smart выдают один и тот же результат (программа видит только винт; внешний WD так же видит в диспетчере устройств, но с черной стрелочкой(отключен) и включить не получатеся):

Ребята, пишите мне пожалуйста даже не как "чайнику", а как "кучке металлолома". Я в пожилом возрасте начала осваивать Комп и, конечно, круче многих моих сверстников, но ... Если Вы мне пошагово напишете что сделать, я постараюсь все выполнить. У меня на WD-диске остались важные юридические документы.
