zai, это по другому флешку делать? дело в том, что у меня нет линуксовых машин под рукой кроме этой. Флешку на винде подготавливаю.

а в чём плоха идея установить GRUB на MBR диск. ведь при нормальной установки так же и ставится. или нет?
а так заработало всё.
