Lots of different kind of errors seem to come up with CS:S My problem is that when I load CS:S it starts up normally but when I enter the game I get like a second of normal gameplay in the background, but then everything freezes. It's so quick that i don't even time to choose a team. The weird thing is, that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I've had win7 for a couple weeks now, and it's just been doing it for the past couple of days. After it timeouts, I have a hard time getting the game to even connect back to the server. I've tryed to disable/enable firewall back and forth and booted cable box and machine and tryed updating all drivers and rolling them back and forth. Oh and one more thing. I just bought 4gigs more ram, but that was a week ago and Source was working fine after that.. So I really don't know what it could be..

И, похоже, я нашел решение своей проблемы: дело в том, что в процессе установки дров на видяху у меня вылезает сообщение с ошибкой, мол, "ошибка установки устройства", а при просмотре конфига через dxdiag, показывает пустые поля.

Также пытался поставить дрова для висты и для Win7 - все равно ничего не помогает, а ошибка вылезает именно при установке Display Driver
