Automatic Updates Tab in System Object in Control Panel:
The Automatic Updates tab under the System Object in Control Panel (accessed via System in Control Panel; or Start, right-click on My Computer, select Properties, and clicking on the Automatic Updates tab) will display in English after installing XP SP1.
It will automatically change to the User's UI language in 24 hours if the automatic update is enabled. The box beside "Keep my computer up to date" has to be checked for the UI language of this tab to change. Otherwise, it will remain in English after installing Windows XP SP1. It is recommended to have Automatic Updates enabled for optimal security and relaibility as Automatic Updates will go to the Windows Update web site, download the Critical Updates and Service Packs and, depending on your pre-set preferences during the Out Of Box Experience setup, automatically install them or prompt you to begin the installation process.
