Ядро до 1000 Гц!

Привет всем!

Вот хотелось бы узнать у здешних умельцев, возможно ли ядро ОС windows XP каким-либо способом пропатчить c 500 Гц до 1000 Гц. Такое практикуется на сколько мне известно, на *nix системах... Искал что-то подобное в google, но так ничего толком и не нашел, кроме того, что можно каким то образом разогнать mmtimer...

Жду ваших советов! :)

Ну я имею ввиду частоту системного таймера...
