Как поменять домашний каталог у пользователя? Создал юзера(например user). указал домашний каталог(например /doc). Если логинится на сервре под этим эзером то все работает. А пользователи подключаются через FTP,указывают свое имя и пароль) и попадают вместо папки /Doc в папку /home. Почему?

потому что логинятся под своими учётками!

Так когда логинится юзер на сервере, и обращается к домашнему каталогу он попадает в тот каталог который я ему указал. А по ФТП он попадает в домашнюю папку по умолчанию. Т.Е. /home

Какой ftp-сервер? Попробуйте в его настройках поискать возможность указания начального каталога пользователя.

Может вместо DefaultRoot /home надо ченибудь другое писать

находил статью на opennet как к профтп прикрутить mysql.. тоесть у тебя логины, пароли, homedir в базе хранятся... оч удобно... поищи там
