Под рутом работает, а под юзером нет...  Permissons нету, говорит. Стоит на ATI Radeon 7000 32 DDR. С -vo xv проблем нет. А как с этим быть ?

Надо разрешить доступ к ... - а вот к какому файлу, это вам виднее :)

А права на сам файл, который просматривается, кому принадлежат? Может "это", стреляет просто не туда где болит. Т.е. я так подумал, что он пытается к файлу, к которому запрещен доступ применить все что в его силах, а потом сдается.

Может нет доступа к $home/.mplayer/config и/или другим файлам в этой папке.
Или к файлу /etc/MPlayer/mplayer.conf ?

Нет, с правами на файлы все в норме. Наверное с правами на кодеки ???. Кстати, а TV-out настраивал кто-то ? Подскажите как ?

Для NVIDIA ТV выход - добавить несколько строк в /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 :

А на ATIшку мою как ? Я тут в доках прочитал, что АТИ не собираются больше ТВ-выход поддерживать под линуксом :(, это что же опять в маздай переходить ?
